In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to participate in the Summer School organized by Sinergise in the beautiful city of Ljubljana. This intensive one-week workshop lasted from July 10 to 14 and proved to be an invaluable learning experience.

Networking with professionals from neighboring countries and beyond, hands-on practical applications, and in-depth exploration of EO Browser processes.
I got to know many great professional people from neighboring countries and from further afield. Every day of the week, we engaged with practical applications, and Sinergise employees willingly presented the background processes of the EO Browser platform. The collaborative environment fostered both learning and meaningful professional connections.
At the end of the course, we developed a comprehensive web application that displays Sentinel-2 images suitable for displaying and analyzing forest fires using Jupyter Notebooks. This project allowed us to apply everything we had learned throughout the week in a real-world scenario.
